North Sands
One of a two part dive site (twinned with South Sands) this flat, sandy part of the reef provides a wonderful opportunity to observe rays, skates and sand sharks of all sizes. The marine species are here all year round, and in the winter, large groups of Raggies often congregate close to an overhang on the southeast side.
The reef provides a colourful and interesting backdrop with which to watch this abundance of exotic marine species. It is soon easy to see why this is such a very popular dive site.
